Easy, tasty canapés with butter-fried bread, tuna salad and avocado.
Great as finger food, as New Year’s Eve canapés or on a warm summer’s day.
The tuna salad can be made ahead and kept in the fridge until the canapés are to be served, – so they are wonderfully easy to put together.
You can swap the butter-fried white bread for toasted Danish rye bread (rugbrød) if you like, – it tastes really good with the topping too.
A perfect appetiser for parties and New Year’s Eve
Butter-fried white bread with tuna salad and avocado makes a perfect New Year’s Eve canapé, – the bread rounds can be made in advance and so can the tuna salad. Then it is really just a matter of assembling them when the guests arrive.
They are of course also excellent as small bites for birthdays, graduation parties or any other occasion.
