Tortilla-hvidløgsbrød med ost – Nemt og snasket ostebrød på 20 minutter

Tortilla Garlic Bread with Cheese

Tortilla garlic bread with cheese – easy, gooey cheese bread in 20 minutes.

Tortilla garlic bread with cheese is that ridiculously easy, viral cheese bread everyone is talking about – and I can see why.

It’s gooey, soaked in butter and packed with melted mozzarella. And no… nobody should try to convince anyone that it’s healthy. But it tastes absurdly good. And you can make it a little lighter by using a lower-calorie butter spread and a light cheese.

You simply spread the tortillas with garlic butter, sprinkle generously with mozzarella and stack them in layers. As they bake, the butter melts into the tortillas, giving them almost a hint of puff pastry or croissant dough. The edges turn crisp, the middle stays soft and moist – and the cheese pulls it all together into one big, irresistible layered garlic bread.

I’ve used four layers here, which gives a nice, “normal” height. It sinks a little as the cheese sets after baking. How high you build it is entirely up to you – just remember extra garlic butter and cheese.

The whole thing can be ready in around 20 minutes, which makes it the perfect side for salad, pasta or soup. As a side with soup or salad, or as a snack, I’d say the recipe serves about four – but as lunch with a salad it’s just right for two.

Gooey, crisp, buttery and utterly irresistible.

    Kære Diane
Du skriver at pandekagerne skal lægges oven på hinanden. Det kan jeg slet ikke på til at passe når jeg ser billedet. Hjælp mig.
    Mvh

    • Hej Peter

Jo du skal samle dem i lag – prøv at se videoen over opskriften 🙂
Hvert tortillas toppes med hvidløgssmør og ost, og så lægges de sammen i 3 lag (eller hvor mange lag du har lyst til):)

      Warm wishes, Dianna
