A wonderfully fresh summer cocktail: the Rosé Gimlet, made with rosé gin, dry rosé and freshly squeezed lime.
I came across this drink on Mirabeau’s Instagram, – they make really excellent rosé, and a lovely rosé gin too. I used their Pure rosé and their rosé gin for this drink, – but use whatever you can get hold of.
An original Gimlet is made without wine, but do give this a try – it tastes wonderful 🙂
For the sugar syrup I used Sugar Cane from Shake-It, but you can also make your own if you prefer.
I’ve mixed my Rosé Gimlet to suit my own palate exactly, – and our guests loved it too. But do taste it before serving, – you may want a little more sugar syrup, less lime or similar.
Serve it in cocktail glasses, or in small tumblers, and add a few ice cubes if you like.
And although this Rosé Gimlet is bursting with summer, – it tastes just as good at any time of year.
