Champagnebrus – in Denmark probably best known as a green, champagne-flavoured ice lolly – but have you tried the drink?
I loved champagnebrus cocktails back when I was out on the town as a young woman; it may well have been the cocktail my cousin and I mixed most often.
Now I’ve made the champagnebrus cocktail in a frozen version: frozen champagnebrus with grape freeze-at-home ice pops, Cuba Caramel, Rose’s lime cordial and a touch of green food colouring.
It tastes like a night on the dance floor – and it takes no time at all to blend.
If you’d like it a little less sweet, use freshly squeezed lime juice instead of Rose’s or Shake It.
I hope you’ll give the recipe a try.
