Try this recipe for baked cauliflower with chilli mayo. Inspired by the popular bang bang chicken, this is a recipe where the cauliflower is rubbed with spices, baked until golden – and brushed with chilli mayo just before serving.
The flavour is spiced, nutty and a little hot – it tastes wonderful.
Cauliflower with chilli mayo is the perfect side for a summer barbecue, a roast chicken or baked salmon, or as part of a tapas spread.
It is also delicious served as a vegetarian meal, piled on boiled rice, for example, and scattered with fresh spring onions.
However you choose to serve it, I hope it will impress, and perhaps become a new regular on your table, as a side dish or a vegetarian meal.
Bang bang cauliflower
Baked cauliflower is delicious in its own right. Season it and brush it with a spicy mayo and you have a dish inspired by the well-known bang bang chicken. The florets can be served as a side to all sorts of dishes, as a snack or in place of meat in a main meal.
If you are serving them in place of meat in a main meal, with a portion of boiled rice, for example, I would recommend doubling the recipe – if it is for 4 people.
They taste best warm – so ideally serve them as soon as they are made.

Deler du det i buketter kan du blot ryste kurven en enkelt gang undervejs 🙂
