There is hardly anything better than a classic tuna salad – and here is a healthier version that is still creamy, full of flavour and thoroughly satisfying. This recipe uses crème fraîche (9% fat) and a little light mayonnaise, so you get plenty of flavour and body, but with fewer calories.
Serve the tuna salad on crisp, toasted Danish rye bread (rugbrød), in wraps or sandwiches, or wherever you think it fits. If you want to give it a little extra edge, simply stir in a dash of chilli sauce for a spicy twist.
The recipe makes enough for around 3-4 people – perfect for quick lunches or an easy dinner where you want something both healthy and tasty. Jump to the recipe for the simple method – it is ready in under 5 minutes.
