A recipe for an old favourite from the cocktail repertoire, – brandbil med udrykning (the Danish ‘fire engine with sirens’: Jägermeister and a raspberry ice pop, with a shot of vodka on top), here in a frozen version.
Jägermeister, – perhaps not the first thing you would think of mixing into a cocktail. Nonetheless, it really does taste good in a brandbil drink – with or without the sirens.
I loved this drink when I was young, but it had been a great many years since I last had one, – right up until this frozen version. And it turned out so well 🙂
Frozen brandbil med udrykning is a simple mix of raspberry freeze-at-home ice pops, Jägermeister and vodka, – plus a drop of food colouring. It tastes seriously good, – and you can leave out the sirens (the vodka) if you would prefer a little less alcohol 🙂
This drink takes you straight back to your youth on the dance floor 😉
