Chiagrød a la gammeldags æblekage - Nem og sund morgenmad

Chia pudding inspired by Danish apple trifle (gammeldags æblekage)

Chia pudding inspired by Danish apple trifle (gammeldags æblekage) – An easy overnight chia pudding with apple and vanilla.

Chia pudding inspired by gammeldags æblekage is one of those breakfast favourites that almost feels like dessert.
Here you get a classic chia pudding flavoured with apple, vanilla and cinnamon – inspired by the good old Danish apple trifle of stewed apple, toasted crumbs and cream. The combination of sweet stewed apple, creamy vanilla skyr and a hint of cinnamon strikes a lovely balance between sweetness, freshness and spice.

It is very easy to make – stir everything together, put it in the fridge and let time do the work. The next day it is ready to serve, topped with a little extra vanilla skyr, stewed apple and crunchy granola for the perfect texture.

The chia pudding is wholesome, high in protein and filling, and it is perfect for busy mornings when you want something that tastes good and keeps you going. It can easily be made for several days at a time and keeps well for 4-5 days in the fridge – or prepared in smaller portions for easy grab-and-go meals.

It also works really well as a small snack or served in little glasses as part of a brunch.

Ser super lækker ud – hvilken granola bruger du?

    • Hej Victoria

Tak for opskriften.
