Moist chocolate muffins topped with the softest Nutella buttercream.
They are very easy to bake, and the combination is every chocolate lover’s dream.
For the frosting I used my homemade Nutella/hazelnut spread, which is why I also add a couple of tablespoons of cream to make it fluffier, as my homemade hazelnut spread is firmer than shop-bought Nutella. If you use a ready-made Nutella/hazelnut spread, you may not need it – go by feel; the consistency should be soft, smooth and airy.
