Moqueca is a traditional Brazilian fish stew, full of vibrant colours and flavours.
The dish is known for its creamy coconut milk sauce with a gentle kick of spice, and plenty of peppers, tomatoes, onion and garlic.
Chunks of white fish are cooked directly in the sauce, so they soak up the flavour and stay moist and tender.
Moqueca is typically served with rice, freshly chopped herbs and lime wedges, which cut through the rich sauce with a touch of acidity.
It is simple to make and full of flavour, and it brings a little Brazilian sunshine and warmth into the kitchen.
Perfect for a relaxed evening when you fancy trying something new.
