Whipped cottage cheese with honey and chilli

Whipped cottage cheese with honey and chilli – creamy and ready in just 5 minutes.

Whipped cottage cheese is one of those small things that takes you by surprise – very simple to make and seriously good. Here you get a version that pairs the creamy cottage cheese with sweet honey and a little kick of chilli.

The whipped cheese is spread over a plate and topped with honey and chilli flakes – and there you have the perfect dip for crusty bread, grilled vegetables or as part of a relaxed tapas spread. Do also try my recipe for whipped cottage cheese with honey-roasted tomatoes and crisp toast – but here with a simpler, spicier way of serving it, which brings out the creamy texture of the cheese and strikes just the right balance between sweet and hot.

You only need a few ingredients, and it takes just 5 minutes to make – it doesn’t get easier than that!

Tips for the recipe

  • Ideally use cottage cheese with 4% fat – it gives the creamiest, smoothest consistency.
  • Whip the cottage cheese until it is completely free of lumps. Scrape down the sides as you go for an even result.
