Classic Wiener schnitzel with all the trimmings — it simply tastes wonderful. It’s a dish we don’t have all that often, but my goodness it is good, and it really is a classic you never tire of.
You can serve it the classic way, as we do here, with sautéed potatoes, peas, butter sauce and lemon on top, or alternatively with roasted root vegetables, a substantial salad and a spiced mayonnaise or similar.
