A moist, tender cinnamon cake topped with a creamy orange and cinnamon frosting – a lovely cake that is very easy to bake.
This cinnamon cake is delicious on its own, so if you would rather skip the topping, you easily can.
If you make the cake without the topping, I recommend storing it at room temperature, which keeps it beautifully moist.
If the cake is topped with buttercream, however, it should of course be kept in the fridge. I would still recommend taking it out about an hour before serving, so the cake can come up to temperature a little.
