This Christmas ice cream is a real winner on the dessert table, and it is every bit as easy to make as it is delicious.
With whipping cream and condensed milk as the main ingredients, you can quickly whip up a rich, creamy ice cream – no ice cream maker needed. Inspired by Rocky Road, I have filled this easy Christmas ice cream with juleskum (Danish Christmas marshmallow sweets), Dumle toffees (chocolate-covered soft toffees) and snebolde (small chocolate-covered marshmallow balls rolled in coconut), and added a swirl of chocolate sauce that gives the flavour extra depth.
Serve the ice cream in a bowl or a crisp wafer cone with a sprinkling of freeze-dried raspberries – perfect for Christmas lovers big and small.
A Christmas dessert that is sure to bring smiles all the way round the table.
Easy Christmas ice cream without an ice cream maker
Making ice cream without an ice cream maker is actually very simple and calls for only a few ingredients.
This Christmas ice cream is perfect if you want to impress without spending hours in the kitchen. With just two main ingredients – whipping cream and condensed milk – you can easily make a smooth, creamy ice cream base with no ice cream maker at all.
This version is inspired by Rocky Road and packed with festive sweets, but you can of course vary the fillings and add whatever you like best – try chopped chocolate, Toffifee, toasted hazelnuts, marshmallows or biscuits to give the ice cream your own twist.

Warm wishes, Dianna
