This restaurant completely won us over – a must if you appreciate good food, well-made cocktails and an atmosphere that is anything but ordinary.

The place is a well-judged blend of restaurant and bar/lounge.
Beautifully decorated – modern, cosy and simply very well done.
The lighting is soft and inviting, and the mood is warm, casual and just right.
The perfect spot if you are after a good dinner followed by a proper cocktail.

We had the girls with us, and although the place is aimed more at an adult crowd, they had a lovely evening too.

The menu is broad, with something for every taste.
You will find a burger with truffle, a few fish dishes and plenty of meat.
On top of that there is a long list of sides you can add to your chosen cut of meat or fish.

We ordered a Wagyu platter to share, along with a selection of sides.
The food was fantastic – that platter comes highly recommended if you love tender meat with plenty of flavour.

The children had a portion of chips – the only thing they fancied.
There is no children’s menu, but there are plenty of options for finding something the little ones will enjoy.

We rounded off the evening with a couple of cocktails at the bar, then walked back to the boat in the harbour.

We will absolutely be going back to KOL – both with the children, and most likely on our own one day, or with a few good friends.
