Crispy bacon, cooked in 10 minutes in the air fryer.
Cooking bacon in the air fryer is really easy, and a very good way to do it when you only need to cook a single pack or 2.
You avoid the mess on the hob, the rashers don’t need turning along the way, and the bacon comes out perfectly crisp every time.
If I’m making more than 2 packs, I always do it in the oven. It’s very easy too, and you can cook a larger batch at a time. You’ll find the recipe for bacon in the oven here.
You’ll find the method for bacon in the air fryer below.
Crispy bacon in the air fryer
Ingredients
- 150 g streaky bacon
Method
- Spread the bacon rashers out on the rack in your air fryer.
- Cook the bacon for about 10 minutes at 180°C, then leave it to drain on a little kitchen paper. The time can vary depending on the type of air fryer and the thickness of the rashers, so check on it after 7-8 minutes.
- Note that if you cook more than one pack of bacon in your air fryer, one batch straight after the other, your air fryer will already be very hot.You may therefore need to reduce the time by a couple of minutes, or turn the temperature down a little.
