Really easy, soft and delicious Danish birthday buns (fødselsdagsboller) that are always a hit at children’s birthday parties.
They stay fresh and soft, so you can easily bake them the day before. Decorate them exactly as you like – children love being allowed to help with the icing and sprinkles in every colour imaginable.
This time I made a few of them as teddy bear faces, as my youngest was taking them to nursery – it was a bit of an experiment, but they turned out so sweet.
