A creamy one-pot pasta with beef, mushrooms, tomato and a mix of mozzarella and Parmesan.
It is so easy to make and tastes wonderful, – rich, creamy and satisfyingly saucy all at once.
When it comes to pasta, I do want to make the case for perhaps spending a little extra on a good brand, because there is a huge difference in both flavour and texture. Cheap pasta tends to fall apart as it cooks and has a very floury taste and texture; it turns sticky and simply isn’t very nice.
Of the well-known brands in the shops, I prefer Il Fornaio and De Cecco, which are consistently excellent products with good flavour and a pleasing bite.
