The following day we ate at the restaurant across the street – Barbara. Here, too, you need to book a table.
A really cosy place – beautifully decorated, lovely lighting and a view into the kitchen.
Once again, first-class service and really good food.
The menu has a fine selection of smaller dishes that are perfect for a tapas-style meal, plus the most delicious pizzas and desserts.
We ordered their 10-course tasting menu – and let me just say: if you have children with you who are having pizza, DON’T be tempted to taste theirs, because you will get SO much food. Nothing was held back – generous portions, and a pizza to share arrived as part of the tasting menu as well.
Let me just say that we were full, very full – but everything tasted really wonderful.
On top of Barbara there is a roof terrace – a very popular spot to sit and enjoy a drink or one of their pizzas, with a direct view of the outdoor live music at Garage across the street.
