At this restaurant you can order both sushi and classic Thai dishes – a real winner if someone at the table isn’t keen on one cuisine or the other.
We went with a couple of classic Thai starters – homemade spring rolls and panko-breaded tiger prawns. Really tasty – firmly on the traditional side, but they tasted lovely.

Then we ordered sushi – a mixed nigiri selection and a topped roll.

The sushi was good – generous pieces of fish on the nigiri, and a handsome topped roll.
But, and it did say so on the menu, they top many of the varieties with crispy fried onions. When we read that, we assumed it would be some sort of homemade deep-fried onions – but it wasn’t. It was the perfectly ordinary crispy fried onions you know from a Danish hot dog stand – and they really came through in the flavour.
A bit of a shame on a plate of sushi, because we had the pleasure of those fried onions throughout the whole meal – and for the rest of the evening 😉

We could easily see ourselves visiting again, and trying their Thai dishes too – but if it’s going to be sushi, it’ll be without the fried onions 😉
