Fanø Krogaard sits in Nordby, looking out over the harbour. More often than not you can spot the seals resting on a sandbank at low tide, and the location is simply wonderful. In summer the outdoor seating is a delight, and in the colder months you can settle in cosily inside the charming restaurant.
The food is excellent, and the menu naturally changes with the seasons.
The lunch menu offers a range of lunch dishes – smørrebrød (open-faced rye bread sandwiches), soups and local specialities. The evening menu has an equally tempting selection, including the option of a 5–6 course menu put together by the kitchen.
For the children, you can usually order fish fillet or fishcakes with chips.
