So far we have only been there for lunch – but every single time it has been absolutely wonderful. Inside, the restaurant is small and cosy – and you are greeted by the loveliest staff.
Outside there is a little courtyard, where we are very happy to sit whenever the weather allows.
Their lunch dishes are simply delicious.
You will always find dishes built on seasonal produce – a selection of the season’s fish along with all the good things from the fields and the farm.
They usually offer a lunch platter with two pieces of smørrebrød (open-faced rye bread sandwiches) and a dessert for around 250 kroner – perfectly balanced in both flavour and portion size, and always beautifully presented. When they are in season, do try their Rømø prawns – they are a real treat.
The evening menu also features lovely seasonal dishes – and the kitchen will happily put together a three-course menu for just under 500 kroner.
For the children there is usually fried fish fillet or fish cakes with chips.
