Wow – a gourmet experience out of the ordinary.

Dishes packed with flavour, from a kitchen that suits my palate perfectly.

Not a string of “challenging” courses – I’m not terribly good at those 😉 But dishes that are so beautifully plated and presented, full of the loveliest flavours and, not least, superb ingredients.

My husband had booked their 13-course tasting menu for us. There is also a 10-course option, but we went for the full menu.

Normally I’m not one for so many courses – I tend to feel “full” from the sheer impression of it all after the first few dishes – but this was fantastic.

We were served so many wonderful dishes, every one of them plated to perfection and presented in the most beautiful way.

And yes, we were truly full by the end – even before the last courses reached the table – but everything simply tasted fantastic.

I would actually say it is the best dining experience, at that level, I have ever had.

When I think back on that evening, I’m still completely blown away – by the food, but also by the whole experience.

N.V. Tasting is housed in one of the old, atmospheric buildings at the Nørre Vosborg manor.

The restaurant is small and intimate – just a few tables with plenty of space around them, and a lovely experience from the moment you step through the door.

The tables are round, with tablecloths that reach the floor; the light falls beautifully through the windows, and the dark curtains frame the atmosphere of the room perfectly.

The service was fantastic – completely relaxed, with an easy, natural knowledge of the food and the wines. We felt so at ease, and over 13 courses that matters enormously.

Throughout dinner our waiter shared various stories about the place – it all came so naturally, and it was a tremendous experience.
