Ingredients
1tincroissant dough - I used Danerolles (Jus-Rol in the UK is similar)
130gpulled chicken - click here for the recipe
50gcheddar, grated
2tbspsavoury spiced cream cheese (pikantost)
1fresh jalapeño, finely chopped
Salt and freshly ground pepper
Milk or beaten egg, for brushing
Instructions
Mix the chicken with the cheddar, cream cheese and jalapeño, and season with salt and freshly ground pepper.
Unroll the dough and separate it along the perforated lines into the pre-cut triangles.
Place a generous spoonful of filling at the wide end, pressing the filling together a little, then roll the dough up into a croissant. You may find it helps to stretch the wide end slightly so you can wrap the dough around the filling. Make sure the seam is underneath and pinch the ends lightly together.(See the video above the recipe if you like.)
Place the croissants on a baking tray lined with baking parchment, brush with milk or beaten egg and bake in a preheated conventional oven (top and bottom heat) at 200°C for about 15-18 minutes.
