Mazarin cake with Nutella cream in 10 minutes

Easy recipe for a mazarin tart with Nutella cream and fresh berries - made in just 10 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 200 g strawberries
  • 1 shop-bought mazarin cake – the classic round one
  • 100 g mascarpone
  • 100 ml whipping cream (38% fat)
  • 70 g Nutella
  • Fresh mint or other decoration (optional)

Instructions

  • Slice the strawberries.
  • Put the mascarpone, cream and Nutella in a bowl and whisk with an electric hand mixer until the cream thickens.
    The cream should be thick enough to hold its shape.
  • Spread the Nutella cream over the mazarin base and top with the sliced strawberries and mint, if using.
  • Serve straight away, or keep the cake in the fridge until it is time to serve.
